This session introduces the new Steel Beam Torsion Design (AISC 360) module in Tekla Tedds. Attendees will learn how to automate the complex analysis of torsional and normal forces under uniform or concentrated torque loads. We will demonstrate practical workflows for handling common eccentric loading scenarios—such as masonry support lintels, eccentric loading, and other applications—in accordance with AISC Design Guide 9 and AISC 360 (LRFD/ASD) provisions.
